LE TESTAMENT DES CÉLÉBRITÉS

When controversial author of the Grimblegitch franchise, Sylvia Gray, is murdered at the Oscars, the three former child stars of the series – Sharkey Lafaille, Lizzy Ho, and Bruno Lafontaine – inherit her final chaotic screenplay. Tasked with completing the last film of the saga, they must contend with outdated, sometimes offensive clichés, as well as their own traumas as former Hollywood stars.

Grimblegitch, a mystical saga about a magical forest, mirrors their personal struggles: Bruno wrestles with an inferiority complex, Sharkey sinks into addiction, and Peggy takes refuge in compulsive perfectionism. Despite their efforts to modernize Sylvia’s cynical vision, tensions come to a head with Sharkey’s tragic death by overdose. Devastated, Bruno vanishes.

Though Bruno manages to break free from the grip of the Grimblegitch franchise, Peggy remains captivated by the immortal universe of the video game she created in memory of her two friends… and for you, the audience, to experience… forever.
