Donating to the Fiscal Sponsorship program
Fiscal Sponsorship is a component of the Conseil des arts de Montréal’s General Funding Program for arts organizations.
Funded organizations act as mandated organizations of the Conseil des arts de Montréal. This means they can sign an agreement with the Conseil allowing them to carry out fundraising activities approved by the Conseil while ensuring that they meet Canada Revenue Agency standards. Mandated organizations receive reports on the fundraising campaign donations collected through their fundraising efforts.
Fiscal sponsorship enables the Conseil to meet the charitable objectives enshrined in its mission, encourage the development of a culture of philanthropy among organizations eligible for the Conseil’s programs, and expand its own charitable capacity.
The Conseil des arts de Montréal has been a registered charitable organization since 1988 (registration number: 888076643 RR 0001).
