DOG: A 1950's HOMELIFE NIGHTMARE

Edward and Vally Bright have a pleasant marriage, not too above average, and certainly not below. As a bright young psychotherapist and restaurant hostess, things can’t get much better. But following a sudden and unexpected miscarriage, a blanket of depression covers their entire life. Fortunately, Edward is in the midst of a new experiment in pharmaceutical treatment for depression. Meanwhile, Vally has found a stray dog to keep her company in her loneliness, but when she begins to hear the voice of the child she lost through the dog, lies multiply, betrayal ensues, and a grand adventure leads to the invention of the most effective antidepressant in history. Let yourself be drawn into the dog’s madness. It’s all there is and all there ever was.

A bold experiment that goes right.
